my favorite thing about being a
destination wedding photographer is having amazing clients who love photography! earlier this week i did a
private photo workshop with one of the brides i'll be shooting later this year (so excited for her
destination wedding in lake tahoe!) we focused primarily on the fundamentals of photography, meaning exposure and composition.
we spent a leisurely breakfast talking about the concepts and then spent a few hours shooting around and implementing all the knowledge - there is a lot to take in!
it's so fitting that we mostly shot these bikes -- when we first started talking and i asked jenn if she'd ever taken a photo class before she mentioned that in both high school and college she dabbled in it. photography is just like riding a bike, even if it's been a while it all comes back as soon as you start shooting!
here are a few of my favorite
fine art photographs that i shot during the day. again, we were trying to really nail composition and exposure. so all of these photos are straight out of camera with a black and white conversion and just a slight contrast boost. enjoy!
